The Tour of Selwyn 2025

The Tour of Selwyn is back for its second year! On Friday 21 November, riders will roll out from the Sheffield Rugby Club at 8:00am to take on either a 75km leg or the full 150km challenge. This is a ride, not a race – the bunch sets a comfortable pace, making it the perfect community ride with a purpose.

By taking part, riders will raise vital funds to support greater physical activity opportunities for Selwyn rangatahi.

Each participant chooses to ride for one of three causes:

  • Activator Programme – Removing barriers so Selwyn schools can access quality physical activity sessions, giving tamariki fun, engaging, and meaningful experiences that support their confidence and wellbeing.

  • iBike Advanced Programme – Helping Year 6–8 students take their cycling beyond the school gate, learning real-world bike safety and road skills to grow independence and confidence.

  • Koru Games Scholarship Fund – Supporting schools with financial barriers to attend the 2026 Koru Games, ensuring more rangatahi can experience one of Canterbury’s largest youth sporting events.

Whether you create your own Givealittle fundraising page, or contribute the recommended $250 entry donation, every pedal stroke helps strengthen the future of sport and activity in Selwyn.
